DNP, APRNA doctorate‑prepared nurse practitioner, not a technician. Sara is her own medical director.
ER trainedYears of Level‑1 trauma triage. Nothing in this room will be the most serious thing she has handled.
Surgeon taughtTaught to inject by a plastic surgeon: anatomy first, conservative dosing, results that build.
One quiet roomNo front desk theater, no upsell. You, Sara, and a plan that fits your face and your budget.

The menu

Day‑one treatments, done properly.

A short menu on purpose. Each one is something Sara has done hundreds of times, with the follow‑up built in.

Wrinkle relaxers

Botox®, Dysport® & Daxxify®

Soften forehead lines, frown lines and crow's feet while keeping your expressions. Dosed to your face, not a chart. Daxxify for people who want it to last longer between visits.

About 30 minutes · results in 3–14 daysAsk about this
Dermal filler

Lips, cheeks, chin & jawline

Hyaluronic‑acid filler placed with anatomy in mind: restore what time has taken, balance what nature skipped, and never the overfilled look. Dissolvable, and Sara keeps the dissolver in the room.

45–60 minutesAsk about this
Microneedling

Texture, pores & scars

Controlled micro‑channels that tell your skin to rebuild collagen. Smoother texture, softer acne scarring, a glow that keeps improving for weeks. Series of three recommended.

About 60 minutes · minimal downtimeAsk about this
Chemical peels

VI Peel® & medical‑grade peels

Sun damage, melasma, breakouts and dullness, treated in one visit with a few days of peeling and a noticeably clearer face after. Matched to your skin, not a one‑size kit.

New here

Nothing to figure out. We will walk you through it.

Most people's first visit is more conversation than needle. Here is exactly how it goes.

Join the list, or book

Until the doors open, the founding list is the booking button. Once we are open, booking takes about a minute online and you see the same calendar Sara does.

A conversation first

Health history, medications, what you like about your face and what bothers you. Sara does her own good‑faith exam, takes your before photos, and tells you honestly what will and will not help.

Your treatment, one quiet room

Numbing where it helps, ice where it does not, music low. No one else is waiting on the chair, so nothing is rushed.

A plan you keep

Written aftercare, a two‑week check on every first treatment, and the next visit already in mind. Touch‑ups are part of the plan, not a surprise.

The ER difference

What an ER provider checks before she opens a syringe.

Cosmetic injectables are medicine. The room should be beautiful and the standards should be the hospital's.

  • Your whole history, every timeMedications, allergies, autoimmune conditions, pregnancy, past treatments. The boring questions are the ones that keep you safe.
  • Anatomy mapped on your faceVessels and nerves are not where the diagram says. Sara was trained by a plastic surgeon to find them on the person in the chair.
  • Conservative first, then buildYou can always add. Natural results come from restraint and a follow‑up, not from a big first dose.
  • The emergency kit is in the roomHyaluronidase to dissolve filler, and a full emergency protocol, within arm's reach of the chair. Not in a cabinet down the hall.
  • A two‑week check, alwaysEvery first treatment gets a follow‑up. Small adjustments then are how results look effortless later.

  • The full menu and pricing the day it is finished.
  • The founding offer, reserved for this list only.
  • A handful of emails before opening, then only what you ask for. Never sold, never shared.

Sara BuckleyDNP, APRN · Founder & injector

Sara is a doctorate‑prepared nurse practitioner who has spent her career on the front line of a Level‑1 trauma emergency department, where reading a patient fast and getting it right is the whole job. She was trained to inject by a plastic surgeon and has built her aesthetic practice the same way she practices medicine: a careful history, respect for anatomy, conservative dosing, and a follow‑up on everything.

She lives out here too. Waterloo Med Spa exists because the people of Waterloo, Valley, Elkhorn and Bennington deserve expert injectables without a drive across town and without being sold to.

  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Emergency medicine provider, Level‑1 trauma center
  • Trained in facial injectables by a plastic surgeon
  • Neuromodulators, dermal filler, microneedling, medical‑grade peels

Questions

Straight answers, before you ask.

When do you open?
Soon. The exact date goes to the founding list first, then everywhere else. Join the list above and you will know the day we know.
Is Sara a doctor?
Sara is a nurse practitioner with a doctorate (DNP, APRN), licensed to practice independently in Nebraska. She diagnoses, prescribes and performs every treatment herself. She is not a physician and does not call herself one.
What happens at a first visit?
A conversation and an exam before anything else: your health history, your goals, your budget, and honest advice about what will help. Many people are treated the same day; nobody is pushed to be.
Botox, Dysport or Daxxify, which should I choose?
All three relax the muscles that fold the skin. They differ in how fast they start, how they spread and how long they last. Sara will recommend one based on your face, your history and how often you want to come in.
Will it look natural?
That is the whole point. Conservative dosing, placement that respects your anatomy and a two‑week follow‑up to fine‑tune. You should look rested, not different.
Is there downtime?
Wrinkle relaxers: none. Filler: possible swelling or a small bruise for a few days. Microneedling: pink for a day or two. Peels: a few days of flaking. You get written aftercare for all of it.
Do you see men?
Yes, and plenty of them. The same consult, the same care, dosed for male anatomy.
Where exactly are you, and how far from Omaha?
Waterloo, Nebraska, on the Elkhorn River just west of Elkhorn. About ten minutes from Elkhorn and Valley and an easy drive from West Omaha. The street address publishes with the opening date.
